July 2024 - It's time for Goodguys Puyallup WA

July 2024 Newsletter Goodguys Puyallup WA

This newsletter will be short and sweet. We have been very busy preparing for the Good Guys car show this weekend (July 26-28) at the Puyallup fairgrounds. We will have a booth on the Meridian side of the Showplex.

On display will be 3 of our builds, new products, the annual Sanders tee shirt and our full line of merchandise.

1950 F1: Powered by a Coyote engine covered in custom paint, a billet machined dash, engine cover parts and more. This will be the first show for the truck and we are very excited to see everyone's reaction and contend for an award on Saturday. There are lots of subtle modifications we did to the truck that I am excited to share.

1947 Buick: This is another build we had planned to be completed for this event but due to major parts delays that are out of my control it will be brought to the show in progress. That being said it is far enough along that you can easily see the direction that the build is going. A lot of clever details have gone into this build as well and we are excited to share it with you.

1959 Corvette: This build received a builders choice and builder of the year in 2022. Powered by an LS7 and covered front to back with details it's sure to draw a crowd again. I am excited to bring this car back out and share it.

New Products: We are introducing a complete line of black anodized line clamps and our billet shims. We also have a new drill jig that simplified the first version by using a vice to secure the parts for drilling. This will add to our growing line of line clamps and billet accessories on our website. Be sure to stop by for more information. I will have all of our line clamps and shims on display and available for purchase at the show.

Derek will be in Pittsburgh this weekend for the GT40 60th reunion with the Mario Andretti MKII car from Superformance. We designed and machined a multitude of parts with Leonard who owns the car. I will do a separate email discussing the car and its significance. We have a handful of products available now for the GT40s and are anxious to see the GT40 community's response to what we have done with that car. There will be 100 plus GT40s at the event, media, vendors and more.

The weather looks to be perfect for a car show! I hope to see you there.
