Goodguys Rod & Custom Show 2025 - Winning Event!

Goodguys Rod & Custom Show 2025 - Winning Event!

This year's Goodguys Rod and Custom show did not disappoint! We brought out 2 new complete builds, one paint job and several other previous projects to show off in our booth for the weekend and even picked up a couple awards. This is our 4th year participating as a vendor at the event and has become a staple on our calendar for the year. We also introduced our latest line clamp in standard sizes.

The standard size line clamp has the same aesthetic as the U-drill but is made for a specific sized line. This allows us to make the clamp smaller overall and provides a grab and go type installation. The new clamps are available in a one and two piece design. The one piece is ideal for lines being mounted to a flat surface and keeps it all tight and uniform.

The two piece design holds the lines off the mounting surface and works on any curved, flat or free floating application. Once again expanding our ever growing catalog of line clamping solutions.

Carl’s 1970 Ford Bronco featured on this year's annual shirt drew a crowd all weekend and a Builders choice award! The classic styling, vibrant color and Coyote engine have something to offer for everyone. We could not be happier with how this build turned out and feel we nailed the customers' vision. The Bronco rides on a Kincer chassis and is powered by a Gen 3 Coyote featuring a set of our engine cover adapters. I am certain they will have a fun summer cruising around in the A/C with plenty of power to push you back in your seat!

Lyn and Rod’s 1970 Buick was a stunner. This has been a long project and deserves a newsletter all on its own. They have been hauling this car around and dreaming about it for over 30 years. Delivering the car and enjoying the process with them has been a highlight. The car rides on an AME chassis and is powered by a Buick 455 V8. The stunning “Deep Red” slicked over the curvy body panels and a low stance pulls you in. Then you begin to realize the details, custom inner fenders, machined valve covers, triple layer copper gauges and a custom interior.

The Buick was selected as a Wild card pick and drove through the winners circle with the Bronco on Sunday!

Thanks from the Sanders Street Rods team!
